'It's something of a relief when The British Expeditionary Force arrive. After just a couple of practices, yourcodenameis:milo's guitarist Justin Lockey and his band already sound superb, splicing together electronic and organic music to create gripping, shape-shifting indie.'

Rock Sound Live
'I have always been a massive fan of the misunderstood and frankly underrated YCNI:M, but the music offered here is rather different. On their debut BEF layer beautifully harmonised vocals over fuzzy, glitchy electronica. The songs are constructed around simple, repeating piano motifs which, along with Burrows' gentle northern accent, contribute a real sense of warmth to the album.' -
The Blue Walrus
'Gorgeous Brian Wilson harmonies in the ambient way, subtly complex layering, electro tinted acoustica. Music that is supposed to complement your day.' -
